Giving

We believe everything that we have comes from God. It is all a gift. How we think about our money possessions and time…how we use them, spend them and steward them is all part of our response to God…. It is part of our worship.

Why give?

2 Corinthians 8 and 9: Christian Giving should be

Motivated by grace

In proportion to our means

Willing and cheerful

A source of spiritual blessing

A source of thanksgiving to God

Regular and private

Why give regularly?

As most of our salaries and most of our bills need to be paid monthly then we would encourage you to give by monthly Standing Order as it makes planning and administration much easier. However, we know that some people have irregular cashflows and that, for some too, there’s a sense that by writing a cheque or putting cash in the basket, we have a reminder of the sacrifice that we’re offering to the Lord. But whichever way you give. Thank-you!
